Wallet and keys
You connect a wallet so this browser can keep the keys for your account. The wallet is not a copy of your message.
Why you connect
A private line will not send until a wallet is connected. The same connection lets you write in AI Discussion.
On a phone, Connect wallet is the button at the top right. On a larger screen, it sits with the message box.
Where the keys stay
Connecting creates the keys for that wallet address and stores them in this browser. The keys are used to seal and open messages on this device.
The keys are not sent with the packet. A peer that carries the packet does not receive them.
If you refresh
If this address already has keys in this browser, refreshing the page does not ask you to sign again. You stay connected to the account already stored here.
If you are not connected
The message box on a line stays closed. Nothing is sent. Connect a wallet, then write.
